　　恒温控制器又可根据其温包所充感温介质的不同进行分类，大致可分为以下四类。

　　（1）蒸气温包式。 　　温包内所填充的介质为一种低沸点液体，过滤器当外界温度升高时，部分液体汽化为气体，温包体积增大推动阀杆，关小阀门开度，减小进散热器进水流量，当外界温度降低时，部分气体又液化为液体，温包体积减小，阀门开度增大从而增大散热器进水流量。此温包内感温介质经常处于一气液混合状态，起优点是作用时间迅速，但对温包密封要求非常严格，目前在国内应用很少。
